Recognyze Newsletter # 5 - Recognyze is for authors too

Previous Recognyze newsletters have focused on the publisher side, and the monetary rewards that Web content creators can get by subscribing to recognyze.ai.

Recognyze is also there for authors who want to track their reputation. Aside from any monetary compensation, it is important, if you have your work out there, to know how much it is used!

We designed the AI-Index for that purpose. The idea is simple: the AI-index is a value between 0 and 1000 which assesses your impact, measured by how much Large Language Models and other AI tools access it.

To track your AI-Index, simply go to the Recognyze site, click Authors at the top of the page and click Register. Then you can just list the resources (articles, books, images, ...) that you claim. An Author page will be created for you, giving you not only the AI index but detailed analytics on the use of these resources.

When you claim your work, you should indicate the publisher (the person or entity holding the rights), who will automatically be invited to register as a Publisher.

For the technically-inclined, we will devote a future newsletter to the exact formula for the AI-Index. (Yes, it has not just one logarithm but two!) Suffice it to say here that it was designed to cover the full spectrum of popularity, from a small site with a focused content all the way to the most popular pages or resources on the Internet with millions of accesses. Even in the first case you can clearly see variations in your AI-Index.
